Teledentix by Virtual Dental Care recently announced the launch of a teledentistry demonstration project, aimed at better understanding how dental practices can integrate teledentistry into everyday workflow while enhancing patient to provider interactions.
Teledentix is partnering with the California Northstate University College of Dental Medicine (CNU) to administer the teledentistry demonstration project.
The university’s Associate Dean for Research and Community Engagement, Dr. Paul Glassman, will head the demonstration project to study how dental providers across the United States use teledentistry in their practices.
Dr. Glassman and his research team are using Teledentix, by Virtual Dental Care, Inc. in this demonstration due to its comprehensive capabilities and its ease-of-use.
Teledentix teledentistry software will allow the demonstration participants to manage all aspects of their teledentistry offering, including appointment bookings, video conferencing, patient education, and asynchronous communications.

The research team will accomplish this goal using Teledentix to track the participants’ virtual interactions. They will also utilize the Teledentix network capabilities to share notes, meet in virtual study groups, and collaborate on a regular basis.
California Northstate University is currently accepting new participants for the teledentistry project.
